Justine Abigail is an immigrant settler living, working, and playing on the sacred territorial land of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee people, as well as the Huron-Wendat and Petun First Nations, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit River. It is now home to many First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people. This territory is part of the One Dish, One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Many know this land under its colonial name of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
